By the time we reached Embankment things were in full swing. The Samba Band were holding court in the back carriage, accompanied by a crowd drumming on any available surface. Our DJ had amps set up in the second and third carriages from the back, and was booming out circle party themed music (Spinning Around - Kylie, Passenger - Iggy Pop, Going Underground - The Jam, etc) The knitters were knitting, pole dancers were dancing and the drink was flowing.
Next came the decoration of the train. Coloured gels were put up over the strip lights, mirror balls hung from the bars, art works stuck over the adverts and balloons galore set free.
